It’s actually difficult to put this into writing. A small thank you is almost not enough to convey how amazing you all are. My wife and I have been foster and kinship carers for four years now and I can honestly say I’m not sure we would have lasted this long without the support of Foundations Care. The support, passion and love from each staff member we’ve dealt with has been amazing and somehow it keeps getting better.
They’ve always been there for us and all the children who’ve come and gone. Thank you for not being annoyed by all of our trivial emails and not making us feel as though any concern big or small is irrelevant. It’s a good feeling when you know you are heard and appreciated. You are all appreciated more than you will ever know. Thank you to all the amazing people who have helped us along the way and a special thanks to the three most amazing women who’ve been ever present in our journey.

We have been general foster carers for around 13 years and in that time, have been Departmental carers and then were supported by a different care agency until we moved across to Foundations Care in August 2022. We are currently being supported by a wonderful caseworker who is extremely knowledgeable in her position. She has provided practical and beneficial advice to our family and has never let us go through challenging times without support. She has always gone above and beyond in her role.
Through Foundations Care we have been given constant support to overcome challenging times. Whether in office hours, after hours or on a weekend. We are grateful to have such an amazing support team behind us. We have been engaged with other workers at Foundations Care and have always found them to be extremely professional and willing to give help, advice or even just have a heartfelt conversation. We are extremely grateful to be connected with the Foundations Care team.
To have Foundations Care behind us and advocating for us and the children in our care is a blessing.
